So, I decided I wanted a street/strip car to beat on during the week and weekends. I got this car for pretty cheap but it was/is in ROUGH shape. This will be my build thread so not only I can store my progress but also so you can follow along in my journey. Car will be a small tire small block nitrous car. Shooting for 400-450 all motor to the wheels and 550-600 on nitrous. Here's a picture of it on the wheels it came with in the shop for the first time.

Got it up on jack stands to start pulling the boat anchor it has now. While in the air I test fitted some 15x12 Billet Specialties in the rear. Needless to say, they're about 2 inches too wide.

Which speed pro pistons did you get? I built a 355 with some flat top 2 reliefs and was spraying it and that motor was nasty

I bought the short block with rotating assembly. It had a spun rod bearing from bein over revved to like 7500 rpm.

Motor is being dropped off at Watts Racing here in Cullman for some cleaning and machine work. Also, I'm ordering my wheels when the paycheck comes Friday. 15x4 up front & 15x10 in the rear
